Hi, This issue may arise due to driver incompatibility and as an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to connect the printer to the PC and run the Printer troubleshooter and check if that helps. Type troubleshooting in the search bar. Select Troubleshooting. Select View all on the top left corner. Click Printer.
Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter. Check if issue persists.

We will be glad to assist you. Thank you for getting back to me. I have in the first instance run the trouble shooter, it searched for a driver and advised it could not be found. I then followed the link to the OCE website to download the driver in compatibility mode as you suggest, however it will only allow we to unzip the files, I selected to put the files on the c drive, when I searched for them later I could not find them. There was no option on the website to download the driver run it in compatibility mode either? Any other suggestions?
